Damn that was unexpected! I played on a jazz festival with very nice musicians from all over the world! The team was: Eloi Pascual on drums, Nick Adema on the trombone, myself on the keyboard and the great Ping-En on the bass and as bandleader! We played a bunch of Ping-En's amazing dirty and rythmically tricky tunes, and also some beauties by Eloi and Nick. I couldn't expect myself to play on a jazz festival, and even less playing the electric piano without electronics! I loved to play with this band. Somehow they are out of the stablished, and allow for a lot of freedom. That gave a lot of space for my vocabulary, and it became so much fun!
In another note, I drove the band to the venue in Tillburg and back home to Amsterdam. All together, it was near to 500 Km. I don't think I had ever driven so much, coming from an small island...
